Whoa! My little cousin barks a lot sometimes and mom just ignores him and sometimes even leaves the room and BOY does he hate that! Before long, he's quiet as a mouse.

You must be barking for new toys and yummy food.
Turn your back on him, that usually helps to let him know you will not tolerate that behavior. Also he may have access energy he needs to use up. Try playing more or walking more and reward when he is not barking. just a few ideas. =)
I bark alot when I see other hoomans...my pawrents don't know what to do with me either so you're not alone! Can't wait for the groomer pics!
